Caroline's good news!

Hello Everyone!

My first post didnt do what i wanted it to do! But.. anyways.. The past few days have been so much better. Caroline is doing good.. Her medicine is not completely knocking her for the day like it had the other day. We found out yesterday when she went to the doctor that her eyes are doing good and that she is going to be able to SEE! I told everyone that i knew that she would prove everybody wrong. Prayers have definatly been answered!!! Thank you to everyone. We still have a few miracles to knock down before this is all over with. She is our life and we are so happy that we have her. She is our little miracle! Corrin is doing better and so is Dad. I am definatly doing better and im not as stressed out as i was.

Last night, I went to the farm and stayed. Unfortunatly, before Corrin, Daddy, and Caroline headed home from Louisville.. Caroline got sick. She was throwing up. They called the pediatrician and they think that her milk was just a little to strong or she was over fed. And if you have seen the recent pictures of her, you can definatly tell that she has not missed a meal since she got here! When they got home last night.. She was asleep in her car sit and we didnt touch her. Daddy, Corrin, Nana, Ddoc, and I all just stared at her. She was sleeping so peacefully. We then woke her up for her feeding time. Corrin fed her while I sat on the floor studying History and Daddy was watching the news. She was eating so good and getting so excited. Then she and I went into Daddy's living room and she and I sat in there and studied. Daddy said it was a sight to see. She slept with me until about one or two this morning and then I thought that it was about her feeding time and i went and put her in her bassinet.

Caroline is literally a blessing to. We are so grateful for her. Our lives will be changed because of this child. We thank you all for your prayers. God has already given us one blessing and I know that he is great enough and Caroline is strong enough to work out some more. Please keep prayer. We will be needing a lot more because it is going to be a long and bumpy road, but we will get through it.!

My life.

Hi everybody!

As most of you know my name is Kendall Taylor. I have an older sister, Jordan, and a younger sister, Caroline. Most of my blogs will be about Caroline. I thought since everybody had a blog that I would start one to keep everyone up to date on what is going on in her life.

Caroline was born on January 5, 2009. She was 3 week early and had a lot of issues. Which is extremely surprising because she wasn't that early. Caroline stayed in the ICU at Jackson Women's Hospital at River Oaks for 3 weeks. She was hooked to a respirator the first and second day and she somehow pulled the tube out by herself. We then found out that she was having seizures. She had a stroke soon after that. Since those days in the hospital it has been extremely stressful to all of our lives and hers, unfortunatly. We brought Caroline home from the hospital and everything seemed like it was going good. She was going to physical therapy and speech therapy. At this time, we were not sure if Caroline would walk or talk. We then took Caroline to the doctor for her head. Caroline's skull was not fully developed when she was born and they thought that she would have to have surgery to correct this problem so that Caroline's brain could enlarge and and develop properly. Corrin, Janice (Corrin's mom), and my Nana took Caroline to Pensacola to the doctor after this news. They went to a doctor to get a second opinion. The doctor that we went to seemed to think that her skull would develop throughout time from about 8 to 12 months. The doctor then told us to go get an MRI to check on her head for damage from her stroke. Little did we know, when she got her MRI it told us that she had been having seizures that were not visible to us. Then, they decided to do a CT scan on her to find out what she would be able to do or not be able to do. We found out after this that She will not be able to walk or talk and her vision has been
